 Everything about this makes me excited - the return of Crows, Higashide playing lead, Yagira back in films, Katsuji on screen again, Nagayama getting more exposure, Saotome playing a masculine role and trying to break into films in a more major role. I know some people will complain about it not being the original cast, but even high-school aged (somewhat) yankees have to graduate sometime, so I say bring on the new kids of Suzuran.
Some people might also dislike that the director isn’t Miike, but heck its Toyoda Toshiaki one of the best (Blue Spring, 9 Souls, I’m flash) - he basically made Matsuda Ryuhei’s career and maybe he can do the same for Higashide, because the boy has talent.

While some upcoming summer (and almost-summer) movies have been comparatively shy about releasing trailers and related footage Tim Burton's Dark Shadows still lacks a trailer of any kind  there is film that has not been afraid to reveal increasingly new footage: G.I. Joe: Retaliation. So far, Joe fans have been treated to a first trailer that was released last December, as well as a Tremendous Bowl spot and international trailer that was released this month. Those still curious about where director Jon Chu (Step Up 3D) will be taking the Hasbro toy/comic book characters in their first big-screen mission since 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Paramount has revealed new TV spots with historicallyin the past unseen footage.



Like the earlier trailers before it, the new TV spots focus mostly on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Roadblock and Bruce Willis as General Joe Colton, Hasbro's original Joe action figure, though the second spot shows more of Channing Tatum's Duke, who is of the few characters to return from Rise of Cobra, but, unlike Snake Eyes (Ray Park), has been mostly absent from the sequel's trailers.

Download TRANSFORMER 2012 MOVIE

Earlier this week, they reported that Michael Bay would be rebooting his own damn franchise with Transformers four, an idea so dull that it's truly fitting of these movies. In a recent interview with E! Online, Josh Duhamel says he's not coming back for the sequel and neither is anyone else:

"I don't think anybody's doing it. I do know Shia [LaBoeuf]'s not doing it. I don't think Tyrese or Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] or anyone else is doing it."

Take this with a grain of salt. Actors are the last to know anything regarding a movie's production. LaBeouf historicallyin the past said Transformers: Dark of the Moon was his last, but then again, so did Bay. Either way, it's not like the cast makes much of a difference in these movies. Transformers four opens June 29, 2014. [Update: Some new and more reliable rumors have surfaced regarding the film. Hit the jump for more.]



While Duhamel is speaking about casting for a film that doesn't even have a script yet, Badass Digest has some more believable news regarding the designs for the sequel. The film will be a true sequel and follow the events of Transformers: Dark of the Moon but the 'reboot' aspect comes from changing the point-of-view from Sam Witwicky to the Transformers. That's not a wicked idea and it's a worthwhile approach provided they write strong characters. In case you finish up writing transformers like Skids and Mudflap, the film will be unbearable.

Additionally, a source tells BD that the film will be more like the last hour of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. That means much more action (if that's even feasible, but I'm positive Bay will discover a way) and a lot less foolish humor. Since intentional humor hasn't been the series' strong suit (although there were lots of fun moments in the first film), I wouldn't mind cutting back on stuff that doesn't work. Stuff that did work: Jon Voight's pronunciation of the word 'robot'.

Of coursework, filming is still a ways off so all of this can alter, but these non-casting rumors are at least beginning to get me back on board with a new Transformers film.

IRON MAN 3 (2013) DOWNLOAD MOVIE

Marvel Studios and parent company Disney have yet to release The Avengers, but they are already hard at work on "phase two" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with Iron Man three. That film was set to start shooting at the finish of May, after The Avengers had opened, but Comicbook.com reports the date's been moved up and filming could start as early as the finish of April or the first week of May in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Marvel would not officially confirm the production modify. It is likely that the studio will need Robert Downey Jr. to do press for The Avengers through April and, possibly, through The Avengers' opening date of May 4th. However, production could start without Downey. "It is not April for sure," another Marvel source later told the site. Whether it shoots in early or late May, Iron Man three is set for a May three, 2013 release date.
