 Six years after their Guantanamo Bay adventure, stoner buds Harold Lee and Kumar Patel cause a holiday fracas by inadvertently burning down Harold's father-in-law's prize Christmas tree.

It's been three years in real time but six in Harold/Kumar time, and a lot has changed for Kal Penn, who famously went to work for the Obama Administration, while Jon Cho took on an iconic "Star Trek" character in the J.J. Abrams reboot. Their cult audience has grown in the interim, necessitating this third (and final, we sense) chapter -- a story that sounds a bit like a Greg Focker misadventure.
